Century Club
The Century Club, on the occasion of their 100th year, commissioned Source Architecture to design a series of spaces, including banquet halls, a reception, meeting rooms and a 20-room hotel block.
Century Club, located amidst the luxuriant green landscapes of Bangalore’s iconic Cubbon Park, is one of the oldest and the most distinguished clubs of South India. The Club’s name is derived from the exclusive nature of it, as it initially intended to only induct a 100 members upon its inception.
In the main Club structure, Source Architecture designed The Reception, The Wadiyar Hall, The Bright Lounge, The Presidential Lounge, The Terrace Lounge and the Park View Lounge. Just beside it, The Sampige Village, an outdoor gathering space, was also re-designed.
Across the road, Source also designed the 20-room Hotel Block, and received an official commendation for the speed of execution and for successfully executing the project in a restrictive budget. The buliding was inaugurated by the Maharaja of Mysore, Shri Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar.
